Hey, folks!
You probably guessed it from the title 😉 I’ve started offering novel editing services! I updated my website last week with the info, so some of you may have noticed already, but today’s the official announcement.
Working with author Ruby Barrett on her novel The Match Faker (which comes out on Friday) made me realize this was something I wanted to offer in an official capacity. I’ve trained for it, after all; this announcement was basically bound to happen at one point or another.
As far as the services themselves, I’m offering copy editing (including line editing, unless otherwise requested) and proofreading. You can check out my services page for all the latest info.
And yes, this still extends to novels in verse! I love it when styles I enjoy mesh together.
As for the genres, the best fits are fantasy, romance, and sci-fi (any age category, any spice level), but I’m open to pretty much anything—with the exceptions of dark romance, horror, and religious novels. I will sometimes work with religious material when it comes to poetry, though.
This post is coming to you while I’m taking some time off, but if you’re interested in having your novel copy edited or proofread, you’re more than welcome to send me a message, and I’ll respond once I’m back on the 18th. I’m starting to book into 2025, so make sure to reserve a spot as soon as possible.
