I wanted to hop on here and tell you I’ve expanded my services! 🥳
The new additions are still poetry- and picture book-related, but they touch on slightly more specific areas. They don’t impact my current services.
Novels in Verse
I would love to help you bring your novel in verse closer to publication!
What’s offered:
– Copy editing (including line editing)
– Proofreading
All age ranges accepted, as well as most genres. I’m not the best fit for dark romance or horror.
Rhyme and Meter Coaching
Rhyme and meter can be hard to grasp. If you’re looking to write poetry or a picture book that relies on rhyme and meter, but you don’t fully know how it works or best practices, this one’s for you.
I’ll help you get a better handle on the technical elements of structured verse so you can write it with confidence.
What’s included:
– A 90-minute call with me, where we go over rhyme and meter basics (and specifics as needed!) via your own project and/or through published texts.
Add-on:
– Extra call time. Can be added in advance, or a second call can be scheduled at the end of the initial one.
Doesn’t include:
– Developmental editing. While I look at rhyme and meter during developmental editing, this service is not designed to get your project ready, nor will I be editing in real time on the call.
