January 9, 2023
Hey, folks! Happy 2023 🙂
What better way to kick off the new year than with an exciting adjustment to my offerings. What adjustment, you may ask?
Rather than editing the broad category of short fiction, I’m niching down to picture books! I learned the specifics of editing picture books last year from the wonderful Lou Piccolo over at the Editorial Freelancers Association, and realized how much I adore working with stories specifically for children.
What does that mean, exactly? If you’re looking to have your story, geared to ages 3-8, copy edited or proofread, I’d be happy to work with you. As of right now I’m not offering developmental editing, but many out there, including Lou, can certainly help on that front.
This in no way impacts my poetry offerings – I’m still doing developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, and collection organization. I had the pleasure of working with some wonderful poets last year, and I have no desire to stop any time soon. I’m incredibly excited to work with more of you in 2023!

Thank you to everyone who’s been with me from the start as I navigate what freelancing looks like for me. I appreciate your patience as I’ve gotten closer to honing my craft and finding what I love within it.
If you’re interested in working together, head over to my Contact page and send me a message.
Feel free to ask questions in the comments, or tell me something you’re excited about this year!
